Scenario Information
CCT#1 - The Shotts Line and back.
Today you are in charge of a return trip to Edinburgh Waverley from Kingsknowe, traffic is rather heavy in and out of the city, so be prepared to wait to be chasing the yellows.
CCT#2 - City to Coast
The snow is falling heavily in Scotland today, and rail services are being disrupted in many areas, however, at the moment, Scotland is not facing any problems. You will be running a service as far as Dundee from Perth, where another driver will continue to Aberdeen.
CCT#3 - From Dundee to the Circle (Pt1)
Scotrail are currently looking into running a service between Dundee and Edinburgh via Dunfermline (Fife Circle) and to test how popular the service will prove, they are currently operating a 12 month trial on the line. You are in charge of the 1210 service as far as Glenrothes, where another driver will take it to Rosyth for you to continue to the journey to Waverley.
CCT#4 - From Dundee to the Circle (Pt2)
You join the 1210 from Dundee once again, now at Rosyth, and you will now take the train forward to Waverley
CCT#5 - Stops to Edinburgh
Today you have been assigned the 1130 Dundee to Edinburgh Waverley service which has just arrived. This service will call at Leuchars, Cupar, Ladybank, Markinch, Kirkcaldy, Inverkeithing, Haymarket and Edinburgh Waverley where you are due in at 12:55.
CCT#6 - A change of Plans
Rain has relentlessly battered the East of Scotland for days, and the storms have caused severe disruption to the rail network. Several trees have collapsed just south of Ladybank, and the Forth Bridge has been closed. As a result, the Fife Circle has all services suspended and the only services operating towards the north are Ladybank to Perth via Dundee and Arbroath to Dundee. These both run hourly designated 2Yxx and 2Zxx respectively.
CCT#7 - The Circle at night
You are in charge of the 2320 Glenrothes to Edinburgh this evening. Traffic is light but you still have a timetable to adhere to.
CCT#8 - Crippled in the ice
It's early January and the temperature is lower than it has been in years, as a result, signalling cables have been damaged on the outskirts of Edinburgh Waverley, and in the Rosyth and Cardenden areas on the Fife Circle. As a result an amended service is operating with Fife Circle services suspended as well as all services between Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket.
CCT#9 - Super Sprint to the Capital
You have joined 158746 at Ladybank. You will be calling at Markinch, Kirkcaldy, Inverkeithing, Haymarket and Edinburgh Waverley.
