Scenario Information
CCT#1- Electrostar Island
Today is a very special day, Southern have taken over the Isle of Wight network, as South West Trains have dropped out, and so 7x2 car Class 381s have been built for the line. Take 381006 from Sandown to Ryde Pier Head, then take it on a public run to St Johns, where it will be parked up in the depot. All timings and train numbers (Class 381) are fictional.
CCT#2- Pier Shuttle
Hello driver, it's July and the weather is suitably summery. Southern have introduced an extra hourly service at 16 minutes past the hour from St Johns to the Pier Head, during the summer due to the extra patronage. Your train is 381003, a 2 car set.
CCT#3- Peak Season
It's August, humid and wet...as usual. However that doesn't stop endless streams of passengers travelling up and down the Island Line. Take a four car Class 483 from Shanklin to Ryde Esplanade. Call at Sandown, Brading, Ryde St Johns Road and Esplanade
CCT#4- In the Midst of it all
It is June and the weather is very wet indeed, parts of the network are flooded so a service can only run between Pier Head and Brading. Today you will be driving one of those services.
CCT#5- The Big Cleanup
It's the morning after the huge flood which devastated the Isle of Wight. The network is closed this morning, but the floodwaters have subsided. The rain is still falling however, and there is still a tree to clear away near Smallbrook. Take a group of workmen to Smallbrook Junction, then head back to the depot
CCT#6- Steaming Down the Line
The Isle of Wight Steam Railway have been granted permission to run two Sunday services between Ryde Esplanade and Havenstreet, you will be taking one of these services from Havenstreet. The weather is suitably wintry and the temperature is well below freezing.
CCT#7- Summer Steaming
It's 8:45am and the Steam Railway is waking up. Take 0-4-0ST 'Invincible' for a top up of coal, then head to Wootton where the coaches have been stored overnight.
CCT#8- The Power is Gone
It's close to 11pm on a wet summers evening, and you will be taking the last service from Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin.
